Hot summer vibes, long relaxed drinks, and canal-side moments at London’s Grand Junction Arms in NW10.

The brief was clear: a black and white, documentary approach with absolutely nothing posed, perfect, and very much my bag. After about an hour of guests settling in, I began shooting with my mirrorless Fujifilm X-T5 paired with a 23mm prime lens, a classic street photographer’s setup that felt ideal for the occasion.

I hope the images convey the atmosphere of the day, the easy conversations, the warmth, and the intensity of the summer light, which proved to be my perfect ally throughout.
