Launch Event Photography for the CASIO Privia Piano at Ligne Roset London

Capturing a Product Launch During London Design Week

As part of London Design Week, the Ligne Roset showroom in London's West End provided the perfect setting for the launch of the Casio PX-S7000HM Privia Piano in its distinctive Harmonious Mustard finish.

Bringing together contemporary furniture design, innovative technology and live performance, the event showcased how modern musical instruments can become an integral part of today's interior spaces. Surrounded by Ligne Roset's beautifully curated furniture collections, the piano felt less like a traditional instrument and more like a statement design piece, perfectly suited to contemporary living.

I was invited to photograph the launch event, capturing both the atmosphere of the evening and the interaction between guests, designers and the product itself. Events such as these are about much more than simply unveiling a new product; they're an opportunity for brands to tell a story, engage with their audience and create memorable experiences.

Throughout the evening, guests explored the showroom, experienced the piano first-hand and enjoyed seeing how Casio's design-led approach to the PX-S7000HM complemented the modern aesthetic for which Ligne Roset is renowned. The striking Harmonious Mustard finish attracted plenty of attention, demonstrating how product design continues to evolve beyond traditional expectations.

My approach to event photography is always documentary-led. Rather than directing guests or interrupting conversations, I focus on capturing genuine interactions, natural reactions and the details that help tell the story of the event. From product demonstrations and conversations to the atmosphere within the showroom itself, the aim was to create a collection of images that reflected both the launch and the wider experience of London Design Week.

It was a pleasure to document an event that brought together design, music and innovation in such a fitting setting, while creating imagery that can continue to support the brands long after the evening itself had ended.
